Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is a key delivery partner of The Queen’s Green Canopy, and we are proud that the launch of the QGC coincides with the start of the charity’s RHS Virtual Chelsea Flower Show.

The RHS will also be supporting the QGC at the RHS Chelsea Flower show in September, as Patron of the Royal Horticultural Society, Her Majesty The Queen has a long and close association with the RHS and its world famous flower show and has been a regular visitor alongside members of the Royal Family for over 70 years.

Committed to inspiring a passion for gardening among people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, the RHS is the UK’s gardening charity and has more than half a million members. Its Vision to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place, underpins all the charity’s work. This includes curating world class gardens and shows; carrying out vital science research into issues facing gardens and gardeners today and delivering a range of education and community programmes to help grow the next generation of gardeners.

The charity also shares its horticultural knowledge with millions via its website; through books, podcasts and magazines and holds the most complete record of the UK’s horticulture heritage with rare collections that date back over five centuries.
